TimelineMap.app exists for one reason: Google Maps lets you download your own data, but hands it over as raw files that are hard to read. See everywhere you’ve been, on a map. This tool turns your export into something you can actually browse, search and keep.

Who makes it

TimelineMap.app is built and run by one independent developer based in Romania. There is no company behind it, no investors and no data business. Ads and an optional one-time unlock pay for the time and the servers.

How it works

  • Official exports only. You download your data through Google Maps's own export feature, then open the file here. See how to get your file.
  • No logins. We never ask for your Google Maps password, never log in to your account, and don't use scraping or browser extensions.
  • On your device. Your file is read in your browser and never uploaded to our servers. Details are in the privacy policy.
